Choose this ammo when you’re shooting targets with your 38 Spl revolver. Choose it when you’re doing the same with your 357 Magnum revolver or lever gun, and want less recoil than the mag round would allow. So long as you take care to keep the plated 130 grain full metal jacket away from ports (i.e. the little holes found in some barrels and compensators), you’ll be in perfect form.
This ammo’s plated bullets aren’t magnetic; no steel inside. Its cases are made of brass, and make fine handloading components once vacated of their clean-burning propellant and noncorrosive Boxer primers. Made in Anoka, MN – the “Halloween Capital of the World,” although that’s wholly irrelevant to 38 Special range and target ammunition.
