A: Thanks for reaching out Michael! I can't guarantee any kind of performance out of a firearm I haven't personally tested, although Remington does load this ammo with the S&W Model 52 specifically in mind. I expect you will be satisfied with its performance.

A: Short answer: absolutely. A all-lead bullet is more capable of deforming during penetration to create a wider wound channel than a jacketed one, and a cylindrical wadcutter's broad, flat tip punches an accordingly nasty hole through soft tissue. People often favor wadcutters for snubnose revolvers. This is because a shorter barrel may not convey a fast enough muzzle velocity for a hollow point bullet to expand to its fullest potential, but a wadcutter doesn't need to expand to create the widest wound channel it's capable of.
