It cradles a hard polymer sphere, which is crimped securely in place by the bullet’s rigid copper jacket.
The Pow'RBall bullet has one of the smoothest-feeding nose profiles you will ever see on a defensive handgun bullet. It is perfect if your 38 Super handgun is selective (i.e. picky) about which ammo it will guide into its chamber. The Pow'RBall’s polymer ball protects its underlying nose cavity from filling with debris as it passes through a barrier or the threat’s clothing. Subsequently, it presses into the nose cavity to elicit uniformly wide terminal expansion. And because the Pow'RBall bullet is so lightweight (with a 1,525 fps muzzle velocity out of a 5” barrel), it generates light recoil which reduces muzzle flip to facilitate more accurate follow-up shots.
