This cartridge is loaded with a “flat nose enclosed base” projectile. A quick look at its tip will reveal that it is not a lead-free bullet at all (and to be sure, it’s not an expanding soft point, either). But because its core’s base is fully jacket – i.e. enclosed – it prohibits hot propellant gasses from boiling any lead off the bullet on ignition.
A Range Clean load’s FNEB won’t just keep an indoor range cleaner. It will keep lead gas away from your lungs, and similarly prevent it from accumulating inside your firearm as residue. And because the FNEB is a true jacketed bullet, it also plays nicely with ported barrels/compensators.
