This .40 S&W frangible ammo from Sinterfire is perfect for range practice with your carry or duty piece! Sinterfire projectiles are made out of compressed copper powder and are designed to break up on contact with backstops or steel targets; this the reduces the chance for ricocheting shrapnel coming back to bite the shooter. Since the the bullet profile contains no lead, these rounds can be expected to leave your handgun and your firing area much cleaner and healthier. As Reduced Hazard Flat-Points (RHFPs) these rounds use conventional powder, casings, and primers.

The flat point bullet shape is common for the .40 Smith & Wesson caliber and maintains a standard length for proper feeding and reliable function. This flat point also creates nice round holes in targets for easy group measurement and target scoring. The 125 grain weight is relatively light but will produce manageable recoil which allows for more practice and greater skill building.

Sinterfire has been in operation since 1998 and offers both projectiles and finished ammunition for versatility and convenience. Their design performance has shown so much success that Sinterfire now manufactures the bullets used in 90% of frangible ammunition in the U.S. market.
