The typical bullet is made out of solid copper and lead. When it slams into a hard surface at high velocity, it presents a very real danger of ricochet or splash-back. But SinterFire’s Reduced Hazard V-Force bullet nearly avoids danger entirely, because it is totally frangible.

This 40 S&W round’s 125 grain bullet is made out of sintered copper and tin powders. The bullet is strong enough to stand up to the stress of ignition and firing, but not hitting a steel target or stone. When it hits a hard surface it disintegrates, which is far safer for the shooter.

The RHVF bullet doesn’t disperse lead particles into the air when it disintegrates, and this round’s Sintox primer has no lead to disperse when it sparks up either. That makes SinterFire’s ammo healthier to shoot indoors where a fresh breeze can’t whisk away all the fumes you’re cranking out.
