Take the number of times Federal’s home state of Minnesota has won the Super Bowl. Now, take the number of complaints we have with Federal’s Range. Target. Practice. line of ammunition. Add them together, and what do you get? Zero. (Apologies to Vikings fans.)

This 40 S&W cartridge is a fine choice for all your high volume shooting, plinking, training, and target practice needs. At 165 grains its bullet delivers the snappy muzzle velocity that leads to a flatter downrange trajectory, and as a full metal jacket it emphasizes easy, reliable feeding in a semi-auto followed by a cleaner barrel at the end of your shoot. Federal’s RTP label is target grade, but even their purely functional FMJs are balanced and streamlined for satisfying ballistic performance.

This round is all American, made right in Anoka, Minnesota. Federal’s brass is drawn and cut according to expert standards to make sure snags and jams won’t interrupt your rapid flow of bullets. Their primers are centered, sensitive, and non-corrosive, and their propellant creates a constant chamber pressure without mucking the thing up with excessive residues.
