This 40 S&W cartridge has a frangible bullet. It’s made of an injection molded polymer copper compound, and the second it meets with a steel or concrete surface it erupts into harmless dust and fragments. Inceptor’s bullet is made with SteelSafe technology, which makes it safe to shoot at targets mere feet away. (Do still exercise the utmost caution and wear eye protection when firing any ammo.) This round’s bullet is also incapable of emitting sparks that could cause a fire, as well as lead-free to promote healthier indoor shooting.

This round’s lightweight 97 grain bullet has a brisk 1,430 fps muzzle velocity for a flat, accurate trajectory, yet its recoil and muzzle rise are still less than those of a conventional 40 S&W load. Inceptor’s reliable primer and propellant live in a new production and totally reloadable brass case.
