Two hundred forty grains is the original loading for the 44 Magnum, and still considered standard. It’s the perfect starting point, and the cherished bullet weight of many a fourty-four man. The full metal jacket would most assuredly be a very nasty thing to get hit by – even if it were only thrown at you – though its savage striking power isn’t backed up by anything that could be described as “terminal expansion.” Veteran Ammo’s FMJs aren’t cheapened by steel, or magnetizable. They’re lead/copper-only bullets that comply with range policies requiring their use.
Veteran Ammo also doesn’t cheapen their ammo’s cases by remanufacturing them. These rounds’ shells are fresh as Christmas cookies the day before Christmas, and they are reloadable.
