Winchester is one of the most recognized ammunition companies in the world and has developed calibers that are still in use around the globe today. Over a century and a half of experience gives them insight into the shooting sports and allows them to introduce new brands like Super Clean which are intended to benefit users without an exorbitant price tag. Super Clean cartridges aim to make indoor ranges a much healthier place by utilizing powders which are fully consumed during ignition and non-corrosive Boxer primers that expel zero lead particles when struck. Both of these implements lower the risk of lead inhalation that high-volume shooters could experience and indoor matches and range sessions.

Each of these .45 ACP cartridges is headed by a 160-grain full metal jacket (FMJ) projectile which is quite light for the caliber but loaded to produce high-fidelity recoil for meaningful training. The FMJ has a zinc core which leaves behind zero lead residue and is less likely to splinter into ricocheting fragments when it strikes a steel target or hardened backstop. A flattened nose helps the bullet to create clean, cookie-cutter style holes in targets that are easy to separate upon visual inspection when scoring stages or measuring group sizes. Winchester shapes the copper-jacketed bullet's body with a nice slope which offers smooth feeding in any carbine or handgun chambered in .45 Auto.
