This 45 ACP +P cartridge from Remington’s Golden Saber line of ammunition features a 185 grain brass jacketed hollow point projectile. The bullet is approximately 20 percent lighter than the usual fare for its caliber, which means less recoil for fast and accurate follow-up shots. This bullet’s rugged jacket is made from cartridge brass rather than copper, which permits it to release far greater energy over longer distances. It further conveys practically 100 percent weight retention as it penetrates targets deeply.

This round’s bullet offers truly catastrophic terminal performance. Its jacket’s nose is cut entirely through, which promotes mushrooming to far greater than one and a half times the bullet’s original diameter. Furthermore, the spiral nose cuts in the jacket’s tip create broad cutting petals that slash through vitals like they were made of warm butter.
