A: This is excellent self-defense ammunition. The Gold Dot bullet reliably penetrates and expands within its target, and Speer makes very reliable ammo.

A: I believe so! This round is loaded with a 230 grain bullet and delivers a muzzle velocity in the range of what a classic 1911-type firearm is designed to handle. I know that a Series 70 has little trouble cycling steel cased ammo, so this round's new production nickel plated brass should really treat its insides right. This ammo should serve you and your handgun very well.
