Remington’s Golden Saber Bonded ammunition used to only be available to law enforcement officers. But now anyone can chamber this accurate and powerful 45 ACP self-defense ammo in their everyday carry!

This cartridge features Remington’s brass jacketed hollow point bullet. Brass is harder than the copper usually used to jacket bullets, which alongside the BJHP’s symmetrical serrated notches helps to control rapid and highly uniform terminal expansion – even at lower velocities. This bullet’s jacket is additionally hot-bonded to its lead core, which improves the BJHP’s ability to retain its weight as it penetrates barriers and finally sinks deeply into soft tissue. The Golden Saber Bonded bullet has a narrower nose diameter than its predecessor, which promotes more precise alignment with the bore and better accuracy as the result. A lot of performance-enhancing features in a 230 grain package!

As a finishing touch, Remington loads this 45 Auto ammo with nickel-plated brass cases. These aren’t just easier to see in low light. Nickel-plating protects brass against corrosion, and it also promotes more reliable performance as it reduces friction force in a cycling semi-automatic.
