This 45 ACP cartridge has the 230 grain bullet and 830 fps muzzle velocity that classic .45 cal pistols love, but its heavily engineered V-Crown jacketed hollow point is better than any bullet J.M. Browning could have loaded.

The V-Crown features a unique stacked hollow point cavity. Deep cuts within its alloyed lead core and skives around the rim of its jacket both help the bullet to expand more efficiently during penetration. The V-Crown lacks a bonded jacket, although its special toothed cannelure embeds the jacket within the core to promote higher weight retention – key to producing a deep enough wound channel for personal defense applications.

This ammunition is loaded with nickel-plated brass cases, which possess enhanced lubricity for more reliable feeding and extraction and superior resistance to corrosion. SIG also loads this ammo with low-flash propellant, which produces less of the light that can cause your eyes to lose their acclimation to poor lighting.
