Tracer ammunition – in a 1911? That’s right! But Ammo Inc.’s Streak series ammo is no conventional tracer ammunition. This 45 ACP ammo’s bullets do not actually contain any combustible materials. They don’t even contain steel, so they’re just as likely to start a fire as any normal bullet you’d use for target practice.

What kind of wizardry is this? It’s quite simple, really. Each round’s 230 grain total metal jacket projectile wears a thin layer of luminescent film on its base. When the light emitted by a muzzle flash shines against the material, it reflects red light back at the firing line. So long as you fire this ammo at an indoor range (or outdoors when the sun isn’t shining), you’re going to see each shot’s trajectory highlighted clear as day. It’s awesome if you’re looking for a new way to sharpen your aim!

This nonmagnetic, reloadable and American-made ammo’s bullets are optimal for training in poorly ventilated indoor ranges. The base of the TMJ’s lead core is separated from hot propellant gasses by it copper jacket. The TMJ won’t just spare you from inhaling lead – it will keep your firearm more accurate by slowing the rate of barrel fouling as well!
