It’s good to be environmentally-friendly – but this 450 Bushmaster cartridge by Barnes offers far more than its nontoxic pure copper bullet. The TSX is designed to beeline straight to its target before killing it quickly and humanely!

This round’s 250 grain monolithic projectile is incapable of depositing lead residue in the barrel, and its Accu-Groove limits the amount of contact the shank makes with the bore to even further reduce fouling. The TSX’s narrow nose, uniformly distributed weight, sleek overall profile and flat base all ensure stellar accuracy out of any rifle.

But the TSX’s finishing act is its most impressive. Its deep hollow point nose cavity produces expansion in the form of four long, sharp and curling petals. The TSX thus carves out a wide cavity as it tracks multiple wound channels. And because a durable copper bullet lacks a core and jacket that could have detached from one another, the TSX reliably penetrates to the depths where it can effect the most damage!

This is Utah-made ammunition, and Barnes is one of the world’s foremost authorities on monolithic bullets. Their brass cases’ walls are straight as an arrow and strong enough to endure multiple reloads, and their primers and powder both spark up with minimal residue to show for it.
