New from Polycase, these Inceptor ARX rounds are a new take on the hard-hitting .458 SOCOM caliber. Inceptor ARX rounds are made for defense and hunting and deliver their kinetic energy via rotational effect; the projectiles have three flutes which act as turbines and direct the bullet's forward force around the diameter of the spinning bullet in order to create a large wound channel similar to a hollow-point. ARX bullets are made from a mixture of polymer and light metal and will penetrate soft tissue and intermediate barriers while breaking up in a target and reducing the risk for collateral damage. ARX bullets also have the advantage of being lightweight for faster velocities accompanied by lower recoil.

These projectiles weigh in at 140 grains which is very light for the .458 SOCOM caliber but produces 3,000 feet-per-second of velocity at the muzzle while carrying 2,798 foot-pounds of threat-stopping or game-dropping energy.
