This is not military surplus. It was recently manufactured in the nation of Macedonia, where it was made for Old Army: a small business in Spokane, WA that is owned by an Army veteran and largely staffed by vets as well.
ATS Ammunition loaded these 5.56x45mm target cartridges according to M193 specifications, which means they aren’t anything unusual or fancy. The bullet is a full metal jacket: non-expanding, with a muzzle velocity of ~3,240 fps from a 24” test barrel. The bullet has an antimonial lead core and brass jacket – neither of which is able to move a magnet.
