This trustworthy cartridge is an essential for anyone who’d take their AR-15 to the range, and a great go-to when that same rifle becomes your only ticket out of a terrible mess.

This round features a 55 grain FMJ projectile, just like the M193 cartridge that the U.S. Army employs for their dangerous line of work. That’s over a tenth of an ounce of lead and copper exiting the muzzle at 3,270 fps – you’ll benefit from a flat trajectory for satisfying target shooting, and serious force to rely on during a tactical situation. This round’s bullet won’t expand significantly during terminal penetration, but its clean, smooth, and hard jacket at once promotes reliable feeding in a semi-auto while preserving its bore from lead residue.

Casual inspection of this round’s brass shell casing reveals that it is annealed perfectly, ensuring it the suppleness it needs to seal the chamber for efficient ignition as well as ongoing reloadability. Winchester’s Boxer primer won’t introduce corrosive salts to your rifle’s sensitive insides, and their propellant burns clean too.
