This ammo’s 62 grain full metal jackets are special. Each one’s lead/antimony alloy core is topped by a 7 grain steel tip. The “penetrator” lives up to its name, although its obvious combat advantages are of no use at the gun range. If you shoot targets with it, then you:
(A) won’t be doing so at a gun range where magnetic ammo is prohibited; and
(B) shouldn’t choose steel targets, which penetrators easily damage.
Igman’s green tip bullets are neatly planted in new reloadable brass cases, with noncorrosive primers and clean-burning spherical power that reliably get the show on the road. And if that road takes you to a place where ammo can get wet, dirty, or otherwise damaged, you’ll be glad yours is inside a brand new mil-spec OD green steel M2A1 ammo can!
