This 5.56x45 cartridge by Magtech features a 62 grain projectile, which is relatively heavy for its caliber for better resistance to wind drift and deeper penetration downrange. It’s a non-expanding bullet, naturally, and features Magtech’s hard and concentric jacket to ensure smooth feeding during rapid fire as well as good accuracy.

These 800 rounds are connected via M27 links, so you won’t have to arduously feed each one into the firearm as you’re working on creating a hailstorm of lead and copper. They’re loaded in a new heavy-duty ammo can that will protect them until they’re led out one by one. And while you very well could fire all these rounds in a heartbeat, their can is poised to give you great value for decades to come!

Q: Does this ammo have a steel core or tip?

A: Hello George! No steel anywhere in this cartridge, including its bullet. The links themselves are steel, of course!

Q: Will my swat classic accept link rounds if its only semi auto.

A: Hello Matthew! I finally got SIG Sauer's definitive question to your answer: No. Their semi-auto rifles are not set up to accept belted ammunition. You could still pop these linked rounds out of their links and use them just fine, though!

Q: Is a person able to remove this ammo from links by hand, or is a tool required? Understanding the separating 800 rounds would take a time investment.

A: Hello Curtis! No special equipment required, no. We would just push the cartridge against a piece of wood, bullet first, until it pops out of its link.
