This is not MK262 ammunition. Only Black Hills Ammunition can make that. But that being said, HSM of Montana has done a very fine job creating something extremely close to what is arguably the greatest 5.56x45 sniping ammunition ever devised.

This Match series cartridge’s bullet is a 77 grain Sierra MatchKing (SMK) – same as the MK262’s, right down to the cannelure Black Hills founder Jeff Hoffman asked Sierra to add while he was fine-tuning his cartridge. It preserves the SMK’s seating depth under recoil, and does nothing to hamper the bullet’s ultra-concentric copper jacket’s rotational stability.

The SMK’s sleekness and balance up its G7 BC to 0.182, which is excellent for a .22 caliber projectile and represents the following estimated performance:
0yds: 2,867 fps | 1,406 ft lbs | -1.5”
100yds: 2,617 fps | 1,171 ft lbs | 1.8”
200yds: 2,380 fps | 969 ft lbs | 0.0”
300yds: 2,155 fps | 794 ft lbs | -8.0”
400yds: 1,941 fps | 644 ft lbs | -23.4”
500yds: 1,739 fps | 517 ft lbs | -48.2”
The SMK doesn’t expand like a VarmintKing or a V-MAX, although its precision and striking power are enough on their own to send a varmint packing. This ammo requires a barrel twist of 1:8” or faster.
