This 50 Beowulf cartridge by Underwood features a 300 grain bonded jacketed hollow point projectile. The bullet was made by Speer via their proprietary Uni-Cor process, in which the jacket is electrochemically formed around an alloyed lead core one molecule at a time. As the result this bullet’s components are virtually inseparable from one another, which promotes both stellar weight retention for assured deep penetration as well as more uniform expansion. This bullet’s nose cavity causes it to mushroom as it passes through a soft target, dispersing staggering energy and creating an exceptionally wide wound channel in the process. If hogs are part of your hunting itinerary, then this round’s bullet is precisely what you need.

This cartridge also features Underwood’s flash-suppressed propellant. That’s invaluable if you like to hunt in night or twilight, as it will prevent muzzle flash from undoing your eyes’ acclimation to low light. Underwood implements a premium brass shell casing and Boxer primer as they expertly load this round, and inspects their work thoroughly before it can go into your magazine.
