Fortunately for the bold among us, Hornady offers this box of 20 .500 Nitro rounds, each with a 570 grain Hornady DGX bullet in a top-quality boxer-primed brass case.

Hornady Dangerous Game Expanding (DGX) bullets utilize a copper/steel jacket that’s bonded with the lead core to provide controlled but powerful expansion while maintaining enough mass for deep penetration. This jacket bonding process also helps the bullet maintain structural integrity when impacting bone or other hard surfaces. DGX bullets will expand up to twice their starting diameter.

Founded by Joyce Hornady in 1949, Hornady Manufacturing Company got its start by purchasing WWII surplus manufacturing equipment from the US government. The company began manufacturing ammunition in 1964, and today they’re known for high-end hunting, target and self-defense loads.
