This 500 S&W Magnum ammunition by Corbon truly is an effective selection for personal protection – albeit not against two-legged threats. This is the ammo you want in your .50 cal revolver when a big bear decides to find out how you taste.

This Hunter series cartridge’s bullet weighs over an ounce, and hits a muzzle velocity of 1,625 fps upon clearing a 8-3/4” barrel. At close range, its striking energy is comparable to that of a 308 Win. Astounding power out of a handgun, even if it is a 500 Mag!

This round’s hard cast bullet may contain some lead, but it has lots of other metals as well. The special, dense alloy is … well, hard! That means the bullet won’t expand significantly as it bores into soft tissue, and also that it is virtually fragmentation-proof. These characteristics allow the hard cast to apply nearly all of its energy toward deep penetration. That’s the terminal performance that has the best chance of quickly stopping large, dangerous game. (The hard cast is hardly ineffective against deer and hogs, too.)

American made. American owned. That’s Corbon in a nutshell. Brass-cased, reloadable, and packaged one dozen rounds to a box. That’s this ammo in a nutshell.
