Black Hills Ammunition of South Dakota loads this remarkable 6.5 Creedmoor hunting cartridge with the 130 grain Dual Performance. It is a solid copper hollow point projectile that is manufactured for Black Hills by Lehigh Defense, and is alternatively known as the Controlled Chaos. But whichever name you choose to assign to the lead-free bullet, your quarry is sure to agree that its terminal ballistics are outstandingly deadly.

The Dual Performance delivers the optimal blend of rapid expansion, high weight retention and deep penetration. Once it has bored a clean channel through the quarry’s hide, it folds out and detaches multiple cutting petals that inflict massive soft tissue trauma accompanied by jarring energy transfer. Despite undergoing such dramatic expansion and fragmentation, the Dual Performance still frequently manages to pass all the way through its target.

As an SCHP, the Dual Performance offers a host of other performance-enhancing advantages including low rate of barrel fouling, excellent accuracy, and acceptability for hunting in areas where lead bullets have been officially banned. Black Hills equips each Dual Performance with a precision formed reloadable brass case and match primer to ensure consistent shot-to-shot performance in all 6.5 CM rifles.
