Finally – the 6.5 Creedmoor ammunition you need to sight in your riflescope, develop your marksmanship, and maybe even polish off a rodent or two!

This cartridge is loaded with a simple full metal jacket boat tail, but it is an excellent example of an FMJBT all the same. The bullet’s brass jacket is wound concentrically around its solid lead core, and forms a streamlined solid point profile that ends in a low-drag boat tail. Once the ballistically efficient 140 grain FMJBT has departed a 21.75” barrel at a muzzle velocity of 2,658 fps, it should stay supersonic until about 1,043 yards (G1 BC 0.491; G7 BC 0.247). The FMJBT is not built for terminal expansion and is not suitable for humanely harvesting medium game.
