This round’s hollow point boat tail could easily, easily turn any varmint into something a vulture wouldn’t have to spend much time chewing. Its nose cavity’s not there to deliver terminal expansion, though. Its just the cosmetic byproduct of a manufacturing process which yields an aerodynamic and rotationally stable projectile, with a thin, concentric jacket and drag-minimizing tapered base. It’s the very same design as the bullets competitive shooters and military snipers both utilize in their very, very different (but not completely different) pursuits. The manufacturer has informed us that they recorded the cartridge's advertised muzzle velocity with the aid of a 24" long 1:8" twist barrel.
Is this old, remanufactured, or magnetic ammunition? No. It’s new production, with new reloadable brass cases and steel-free HPBTs.
