Remington’s Premier Match line of ammunition doesn’t drive tacks. It puts tacks on a first class flight, complete with complimentary slippers and a glass of mimosa. This 6.5 Creedmoor cartridge is all you need to let competition judges witness your true skill in action.

Remington outfits this round with a 140 grain OTM BT by Barnes. As an open tip match its jacket was formed first according to excruciatingly tight tolerances. The jacket’s base is immune to deformation during ignition, and features a long boat tail to reduce in-flight drag substantially. The jacket’s narrow tip has a pinhole aperture, proof that the bullet’s lead core hardened in place to provide exemplary rotational stability. Although this bullet may bear resemblance to a hollow point, it is not in fact designed to expand within game.

This match grade bullet delivers a jaw-dropping G1 ballistic coefficient of 0.596. (G7 0.299) If you’re shooting for the coveted 1,000 yard target, you can expect a velocity in excess of 1,400 fps when your bullet finally arrives there. That kind of ballistic performance longside its flat trajectory and strong resistance to crosswinds makes this bullet a sniper’s dream come true.

Each Premier Match round features Remington’s match grade primer, ultracarefully measured propellant charge, and select brass case for smooth feeding and snug chambering.
