You don’t want to shoot deer with this ammo, though. Its 142 grain hollow point boat tail bullet may have a nose cavity, but it’s not designed for terminal expansion. An opening only exists in the bullet’s tip because liquid lead was poured into its brass jacket to create a rearward-situated and uniformly distributed core. That feature complements the HPBT’s low-drag tapered base to create a gyroscopically stable and ballistically efficient projectile. Expect the 0.553 G1 (0.278 G7) BC bullet to follow a trajectory that maxes out at 2.87” above the muzzle line when you’re shooting for 200 yards, as well as supersonic velocity until about 1,250 yards. (2,625 fps muzzle velocity recorded with 23.5” test barrel.)
This completely nonmagnetic ammo is loaded with never-before-fired reloadable brass cases and high-quality noncorrosive Boxer primers. These rounds come from the factory in cases of 25 boxes; you get a bundle of 10 boxes with spooky fast shipping when you order from us!
