Hornady’s Precision Hunter ammunition couples pinpoint accuracy with savage yet controlled terminal performance to give your rifle what it needs to drop resilient game fast. This 6.5 Creedmoor cartridge offers the Nebraskan manufacturer’s 143 grain ELD-X projectile, the Heat Shield tip of which defies aerodynamic heating in order to never lose its streamlined pointed symmetry. The bullet’s estimable accuracy further derives from its boat tail design, highly concentric AMP jacket, and secant ogive profile.

The ELD-X not only gets to its target reliably, but destroys it to boot. At high velocity impact the bullet’s InterLock ring keeps its core and jacket together for no less than 50 percent weight retention during penetration. At lower velocities the polymer tip initiates wide expansion with as great as 90 percent weight retention, making it a truly versatile solution for practical hunting.

This high quality round further features clean burning propellant that performs consistently regardless of the temperature in which it ignites. Its brass casing is exceptionally uniform as well, and worth every second you’d spend with it at your reloading press.
