This 6.5 Japanese cartridge made by Precision Cartridge Inc. is an American-made version of the vintage caliber first introduced back in 1897 for use by the Imperial Japanese Army. Each cartridge in this pack of 20 is encased in new-production brass and loaded with a Boxer-primer. Shooters well-versed in handloading will enjoy the reusability of the brass casings.

PCI tops this round with a 156-grain soft point round nose (SPRN) that expands on impact making it useful for hunting medium-size game. This ammunition is anti-corrosive and non-magnetic.

PCI was established in 1986 by a former police officer who understands the importance of properly loaded ammunition. Based in Indiana, PCI manufactures premium hunting and self-defense loads for a variety of applications.

Q: I just got a 6.5 creedmoor made by Thompson center fire. I am new to this.. will the 6.5mm Japanese - 156 Grain SPRN - PCI - 20 Rounds fit my rifle? I am assuming since it’s 6.5 but want to make sure. Thanks

A: No sir, I'm afraid that your 6.5 Creedmoor rifle cannot fire 6.5 Japanese. Though they do share a number in their name, the two cartridges have significantly different dimensions and won't chamber in each other's rifles. Please only order 6.5 Creedmoor ammo for your rifle!
