First things first! This is not 6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5 Grendel or 6.5 Japanese ammunition. It is 6.5 Precision Rifle Cartridge (PRC) ammunition, and will not function in any rifle that isn’t specifically chambered for it.

Thanks for bearing with us through the disclaimer. We promise that doing so was well worth your time, because we are about to turn you on to the good stuff. Federal Premium loads this large game and long-distance hunting cartridge with their state-of-the-art bonded polymer tipped bullet – the one and only Terminal Ascent!

This round’s nickel-plated brass case seats a 130 grain Terminal Ascent. In addition to streamlining the bullet’s frontal profile, the patented Slipstream tip helps trigger terminal expansion at velocities up to 200 fps lower than other manufacturers’ comparable bullets. The long, sleek, match-accurate bullet achieves a 0.532 G1 ballistic coefficient. If centered up 1.5”, it reaches 200 yards with a commanding 2,025 ft lbs striking energy before proceeding to drop -6.4” at 300 yards. And because the Terminal Ascent’s copper shank and lead core are bonded together, the bullet reliably conserves the momentum it needs in order to stamp out a deep wound channel at any practical range.
