Armscor is only one of several companies that load Hornady’s ELD-X projectile. Why? Because it’s a great projectile: match accurate, and darn deadly on big game!

This cartridge’s 143 grain ELD-X is fine-tuned for peak precision.
• Its polymer tip? The Heat Shield, which withstands intense aerodynamic friction without shedding its ballistically efficient and Doppler-proven Drag Variability Reduction Technology flat meplat.
• Its jacket? The Advanced Manufacturing Process jacket, which is drawn without any significant runoff or wall thickness variance, and streamlined courtesy of Hornady’s signature secant ogive geometry.
• Its tail? A boat tail!

The ELD-X also features the InterLock ring: another of Hornady’s designs, which secures superior weight retention – even at close range – by securing the thick jacket and dense core tightly together on impact. The ELD-X also conserves capacity for terminal expansion over very long distances. This round’s particular bullet can still undergo terminal expansion at quadruple-digit yardages!

Hornady reports this round's bullet's G7 BC at 0.315. Armscor reports its 2,850 fps muzzle velocity ouit of a 24" tube. WIth those numbers combined, we get the following handy 500-yard zip data:
