The CX also doesn’t have a jacket and core that can split apart from one another on impact. That plus copper’s high ductility translates to a bullet that consistently exhibits as little as 95% weight retention. That’s why the CX reliably delivers a deep penetration/wide expansion combo that drops ‘em dead!
The CX is one sleek beast – like a miniature cheetah, but not cute. Its optimum groove geometry reduces in-flight drag, as does its Heat Shield tip (which is made of polymer that won’t deform in reaction to aerodynamic heating).
