Anyone who knows anything about firearms knows that the AK and SKS rifles are some of the most reliable in existence. What some people don't know is that these rifles were designed to fire inexpensive steel-cased cartridges. Steel has a long history of being used for casings in Russia, where abundant iron ore deposits make it by far the more cost-effective choice compared to brass. Modern steel-cased ammo builds on this foundation with polymer coatings, which offer reduced friction and even greater reliability in the feeding and ejection process. This 7.62x39mm ammunition is both dependable and inexpensive!

Each cartridge in this bulk priced case of 1,000 fires a 122 grain hollow point bullet at a muzzle velocity of 2,330 feet per second. This ammo is best suited to target shooting use and low-cost hunting, being more effective in the latter role than full metal jacket ammunition but much less expensive than premium hunting ammo.

These rounds use non-corrosive Berdan primers and are loaded in Tula, Russia.
