This steel-cased ammo from Tula is a great choice for low cost hunting or target shooting with your AK or SKS rifle. Like the rifles it was designed for, this ammunition is cost-effective and reliable. Steel cases are not reloadable and have magnetic properties that preclude their use at some indoor ranges. However, their low price often makes them a better choice; furthermore, modern steel ammo is quite reliable thanks to the use of polymer coatings on the cases to reduce friction during the feeding and ejection processes.

Each cartridge in this box of 100 fires a 122 grain hollow point bullet at a muzzle velocity of 2,396 feet per second. These rounds use non-corrosive Berdan primers that require relatively little firearm maintenance compared to corrosive surplus loads.

Tula ammunition is made in Tula, Russia, which has produced ammo for centuries and ranks among one of the highest volume producers of cartridges in the world.
