This 7.62x39 cartridge has a 122 grain FMJ. The jacket is made of copper instead of magnetic bimetal, with a lead core and solid point that inhibits terminal expansion. This ammo’s the right choice for target shooting with an AK-47 or SKS, although you’ll find it can manage a threat to your personal safety pretty efficiently as well.
Wolf’s copper jacketed bullet is seated in the Russian manufacturer’s usual steel case. The case is polymer-coated for more efficient passage through a semi-auto, outfitted with a non-corrosive Berdan primer, and charged with clean burning propellant. Cases like Wolf’s are not reloadable, but at least they’re easy to pick up off the ground with the aid of a magnet!
