Whether you'd like some inexpensive ammo to run through your brand new Remington 738, or nice brass-cased ammo to link up for the next machinegun shoot, this sealed ammo can from PMC has you covered. Filled with 460 rounds of 7.62x51mm NATO, this ammo was manufactured in the 1980s in PMC's South Korean factories. As NATO designated rounds, this ammo was intended to closely match the M80 cartridge specification and utilizes 146-grain full metal jacket (FMJ) projectiles with lead cores and bi-metal jackets (which may not be allowed at some indoor ranges). Each FMJ has a knurled cannelure at its crimp point which securely locks it into its brass casing; this measure prevents jostling, maximizes accuracy potential, and guards against setback which could cause malfunction.
Each casing has red sealant in its primer pocket which protects the cartridge from moisture and ensures dependable ignition of its non-corrosive Boxer primer. The 7.62mm ammo comes 20 rounds to a box, with 23 boxes total in a steel ammo can. This steel can is the .50 caliber format (M2A1) which is quite versatile for reuse. As military-style boxes, they feature folding carry handles, rubber lid gaskets, and specific molding which allows for vertical stacking. PMC is Korea's premiere cartridge manufacturer and supplies the country's military, its allies, and commercial loads which are recognized as a consistent import.
Note: The can you get may have surface rust (typically under the handle). We've checked the ammunition inside and it's all in good shape. Because of the condition of the cans in general, we're offering this ammo at an excellent price compared to other boxer-primed brass case 308 rounds.
