This 7.62x54r has the steel casing that Russia’s famous for. It’s a lot less spendy than brass at the cost of being non-reloadable, but it is coated in Wolf’s proprietary PolyFormance polymer to ensure that it feeds and extracts with greater reliability. This round’s 148 grain projectile has a bimetal jacket that’ll keep your rifle’s bore safe from leading, and also help it to penetrate whatever you’d like it to. Wolf utilizes a Berdan primer to create this cartridge, another factor that works against its non-reloadability, but it is non-corrosive in order to keep an antique in better shape.
