With our shiny new 7mm Backcountry rifles, of course. Federal is still the only company that loads the hot “little” cartridge at the time of writing, but that hardly means you’re limited to subpar options for hunting. Case in point: this Fusion Tipped series cartridge, which’ll knock any American game’s block off.
This round is loaded with the 175 grain Fusion Tipped projectile. Like the Speer Gold Dot, the bullet’s lead core and copper jacket are electrochemically bonded together. The jacket is perfectly concentric, which gives the bullet stability. It is also inordinately tough, which enables the Fusion Tipped to remain mostly (if not perfectly) intact as it fans out wide to inflict max trauma.
