This long-range hunting ammunition is loaded with the 175 grain Core-Lokt Tipped projectile, which surpasses its soft point ancestor in every way thanks to its suitably named BIG GREEN tip. Does the BIG GREEN tip complement the projectile’s boat tail, spitzer profile, and even weight distribution to a degree that earns the bullet a 0.540 G1 ballistic coefficient? It sure does. If the projectile hits its advertised muzzle velocity, then it’ll most likely stay supersonic until around 1,362 yards!
Remington’s advanced propellant blend and Federal’s Peak Alloy case technology both do their parts to secure that coveted flat trajectory. But what good is precision without commanding terminal ballistics? Not very good at all if you’re hunting! And the Core-Lokt Tipped has that angle covered too, you see.
