The name says it all -- Precision Hunter ammo by Hornady gives you the in flight and terminal performance it takes to be a champion come hunting season. This 7mm STW cartridge owes that to its 163 grain ELD-X, a bullet that excels at practically all distances.

The ELD-X’s high ballistic coefficient delivers match accuracy. Its super concentric AMP jacket won’t let the ELD-X spin off of course, and its Heat Shield tip is impervious to the effects of aerodynamic heating so that the meplat it provides will always stay sharp and true. The ELD-X further features a secant ogive profile and boat tail design to lessen the drag it encounters on its way toward its goal.

This is a caliber that’s known for its accuracy hundreds of yards out. When the ELD-X strikes at lower velocities its Heat Shield tip drives inward to initiate lethal expansion while penetrating deeply. Even at higher velocities the ELD-X still delivers with as little as 50 percent weight retention thanks to the InterLock ring that holds its core and jacket together.
