Pros: accurate, inexpensive, brass is good for reloading
Cons: dirty, very underloaded, doesn't bump the slide back quite forcefully enough for positive function in my gun
I have a CZ75 that digests everything else without a problem, even aluminum case and steel case ammo. PMC 115gr ball gives me consistent and repeatable problems that appear to be related to its being loaded to only about 1050 f.p.s. I get smokestack, doublefeed, and failure-to-feed malfunctions with this ammo, and no other. It also ejects the brass straight back and hits me in the face with the empties. It doesn't do this with any other ammo I've ever shot in it. Yes, I run an extra-power 15 pound recoil spring and a 25% extra-power extractor spring. No, it still doesn't happen with any other ammo. No, my other 9mm handguns don't do it either with this ammo.
It's also pretty dirty, but I don't care very much about that. It's very accurate, too--I've gotten sub 2" groups with it at 10 yards, standing offhand, rapid fire, just messing around. I wish PMC would bump up the powder charges about 10%, that'd fix the worst of the problems with it. If your gun runs with it, it's good enough for what it's for.
