Got jammed first time I used it
Review by Mike M.
I literally loaded up my first magazine and in the 4th round the bullet got stuck. That was so embarrassing for me to have fired a brand new berreta 92fs m9a1 and get a bullet jammed right away.

Absolutely horribly out of spec ammo
Review by Mike R
I got through almost 50 rounds of this before a fired case got lodged in the barrel of my Sig P229 so badly that it took a gunsmith to free it. He then examined a bunch of the other rounds with calipers and found it was badly out of spec. Beware of this ammo, worst I have ever used.

I went and took my CCW class and at the range literally half of the ammo wouldn't fire with a center strike pin hit.

Only a single jam out of 50, but five failed to fire on a dead-center pin strike. Might be ok on the range, but would hate to have to bet my life on a 10% failure rate. Sometimes a bargain isn't such a bargain.

Only ammo that will not cycle thru anything. I thought being brass it would be better than steel cased rounds. I thought wrong. Not even fun to blast thru because it won't fire more than 5 rds. In a row.

Never had this happen before...
Review by JB
I am a fan of steel-cased ammo, but MaxxTech is the exception. It shoots very dirty, consistently fails to eject, and actually ended a recent range session when the casing became stuck in the breach. To remedy, I had to go home, disassemble the firearm, and beat it out with a plastic rod passed through the front end of the barrel. Stick with Tulammo or other brands when you are looking for your "value" plinking/range ammo.

Might Be Worse than Tula
Review by Der Yetti
I've bought boxes of this ammo on several occasions and each time I've experienced pretty much the same thing; failure to battery, failure to eject and failure to extract (sometimes to the point it completely locks the gun up). I'm pretty sure a large percentage of the ammo comes from the factory dimentionally out of spec. I'd really like to run a test where I buy a 1000 round box and test each round for fit. I'm betting around 20% will be problematic.
That said, the rounds that actually work correctly seemed just fine. The problem is your gambling on which ones are good unless you go through each of them.

do not waste your time and money on this !
Review by Steve
Many times fail to eject of fail to feed. Tried another gun with same results. Actually jammed each gun so that they would not open, empty had to be pried out. I would rate this no stars if I could.
I switched to a box of Federal, no problems. I tried a box of Aguila, no problems. This ammo is JUNK!

Pretty good value
Review by unclelarry
First, I bought this ammo not knowing about the different geometry inside the case. However, i ran 100 rds through my Glock 17 without a hitch and accuracy was good. I intend to reload them if i can find some specs on powder charges. I see some people have had a problem running these cases into a resizing die, but, in my case at least, this is not a problem because all of my spent cases fit my headspace gauge just fine. No need to trim either. So, if i can get some info on powder type and wt., This brass may turn out to be great.

Not a good choice for reloading
Review by David1013
Unfortunately, I bought 1000 of these. I've shot a couple hundred and average two jams per mag in a Springfield XDM.
My biggest issue with them is that they aren't even a good choice for reloading. Because of the "pocket" inside the case, it's difficult to size, and the lower volume won't fit any more than 6 grains of powder.
I regret buying them, and won't ever again.

This stuff is crap
Review by Jarhead John
In a brand new H&K VP-9, this stuff failed to feed on a consistent basis. Do not buy this sub-par ammo under any circumstances! I don't know whether LG will make good on it or not, but if not, it was my last purchase from them.

I bought a box of these to break in my new taurus 709 slim,on the first magazine i had 4 out of 7 that failed to load, went to another brand, federal champion aluminum case .went through a box of fifty rounds without a single misfeed,or misfire,am now using the remainder of the box as a paperweight. Paid less for the federal than I did for the maxxtech, and was 100% satisfied with the federal.

Do not buy
Review by Hot Carl
Worst ammo ever. Out of about 300 rounds that I fired, I couldn't shoot more than 5 in a row without a jam. It either wouldn't fit into the chamber or the shell wouldn't eject from the chamber. It took a lot of force to pry the spent case out of the chamber in order to clear the jam. I,m using a Beretta 92 Brigadier, I also tried it in my Springfield XDM. Nothing but problems. Lucky Gunner is a great store, I never had any other problems or complaints about them.

This ammo does not like M&Ps
Review by Craig
My son and I went to the range with this ammo. We averaged at least two malfunctions per 50 round box. My trouble-free M&P 9C, which has about 10,000 rounds through it, experienced trouble as did my newer M&P CORE 4.25". We had FTEs, FTFs and a couple of stovepipes. At first I thought is was that my son was limp-wristing his shots. But, then I started having trouble, too. This ammo may run in your firearm, but I would steer clear if you have an M&P.
