Remington adorns each round in this behemoth box with a 115 grain full metal jacket. At that weight the bullet has low enough inertia to hit a supersonic muzzle velocity without sending back very much recoil energy. The FMJ’s hard copper alloy jacket prevents deformation that could have caused a feeding jam. It’s wrapped around a solid lead core, which leaves the bullet incapable of attracting a magnet.
Remington fills this ammo’s new and reloadable brass cases with temperature stable propellant. Fire it in Minnesota’s bitter cold or scorching hot Texan heat and expect similar performance either way. Remington’s Kleanbore primers don’t produce corrosive hygroscopic chemicals upon ignition. No rust. No fuss!
