Speer has created these 9mm Luger rounds for safe, high volume training in enclosed environments that are commonly used for police officer and private citizen training as well as city-based club matches. The Lawman "Clean-Fire" line utilizes CCI primers that contain no lead, mercury, or barium and exhibit a spark of flame that consumes all propellant grains in total. The +P powder charge itself produces minimal flash and spreads almost no particulate into the air around a shooter. These components are contained within a reloadable brass casing that is crowned with a 115 grain Total Metal Jacket (TMJ) projectile.
Unlike conventional FMJs and other encapsulated designs, Speer's TMJ lead cores are seamlessly contained by a copper jacket without the use of a base cap; this eliminates the potential for the bullet to leak lead during the firing process which may settle in a firearm or pass into a shooter's lungs. Alongside a safer training experience, Speer's Lawman Clean-Fire products are built to provide high fidelity practice recoil and ballistic travel that matches Gold Dot 9x19mm carry and duty ammunition. Speer, a company known for its high grade bullets for decades, is a sister unit of CCI and shares a parent company with Federal. The prominent brand is trusted for consistent performance and constantly fulfills U.S. law enforcement contracts at the local, state, and federal department levels.
