The Italian ammo company Fiocchi has been in the same family since 1872. And today they make ammo for civilians, law enforcement, and military forces all over the world.
Fiocchi Ammo has also been approved for use by NATO forces, and their civilian ammo comes from the same production lines as the military products. Almost every aspect of their manufacturing process is directly controlled by Fiocchi.
They make a lot of their own loading machines, and all the components of their ammo are produced in-house. Even the lead used in their projectiles comes from Fiocchi's own lead recycling business. Though they're based in Italy, much of Fiocchi's handgun ammo is actually produced in the US. Headstamps on the shell casings will either read Fiocchi USA, or GFL, which are initials for the company's founder and the town where Fiocchi's Italian factory is located.
However, the headstamp does not necessarily indicate where the ammo was make. The 9mm we shot for this test was made in the US but bears the GFL headstamp.
The 124-grain bullets are in normal lead-core full-metal jacket in a reloadable brass case with a non-corrosive primer. Recoil was moderate and soft enough for long practice sessions, but hot enough to reliably cycle all six of our test guns with no ignition or feeding failures.
We performed a quick accuracy test from the bench at 15 yards with a Glock 19. Our 10-shot group was slightly better than average for other nine-millimeter practice ammo that we've tested.
Fiocchi in 9mm is great practice ammo and has a solid international reputation to back it up.

Overall good buy
This ammo is of high quality and is my go to when practicing at the range or running a training class. I prefer it since it performs very similar to my carry ammo as far as recoil and is completely reliable.
I love Fiocchi ammo and 124gr 9mm rounds. I have been hesitant to order ammo online call me old school I guess. I took the plunge and picked up a case of this ammo. Incredibly fast shipping from Lucky Gunner and the quality product I expected. Will be ordering again I shoot a lot of rounds when I teach and I have a lot of classes coming up. This is my forever home for ammo from here on out.
not too happy
While shooting at the range, I noticed a weak recoil, upon inspection it was a squib load that was lodged in the barrel in my Ruger SR9. Was surprised as this was not reloaded, and was fresh out of the box. I have been shooting for better than 45 years and this is my first squib.
Will not buy or shoot again
I picked up 1000rds because Ive saw numerous people having good sucess with it, you hear Fiocchi you think fairly decent quality. Well, First off I had zero issues with the ammo running through my gun, a CZ TSO, which Is pretty particular when it comes to case dia. and OAL. I ran through 300 rds and Im throughly disappointed. This ammo is ridiculously HOT, like a 115gr max powder charge behing the 124gr round. I am curious as towhat the case pressure is. Felt recoil was higher that many other brands Ive shot. Grouping started off somewhat acceptable, but after about 40rds the barrel became so heat soaked the grouping was sporadic. Finally this stuff is DIRTY! I ran the 300rds through a clean gun, not knowing any better I would have swore I shot easily 1000+rds. My mags were even dirty clear to the bottom plate. I had to do a full dissamble just to get the gun clean. Ultimately I will not be purchasing or even shooting this ammo again.
I'll start off by saying that there is nothing wrong with the ammo but I doubt if I will by more. I shot a total of 200rds through three pistols with zero issues. I was just looking for some cheap ammo to go to the range with. I bough some of this because I had never shot it before and I figured why not. I say that I'm not going to buy more because I didn't care for the recoil. My go to for a long time has been Freedom Munitions 124 or 115 depending on what they had in stock. Prior to buying bulk FM I would just go to walmart and get AA or Winchester. I went to the range this afternoon and used up the last 200rds of FM 124 that I had before I started loading this stuff. there was a pretty big difference in recoil. So much so that I found shooting less enjoyable. I go to the range because I like to make the center of the targets disappear. I don't need ammo with this much kick to do that.
Fiocchi 124 Grain 9mm
This is my second order of Fiocchi 124 Grain 9mm ammunition from Lucky Gunner. I also purchased Fiocchi 95 Grain .380 ammo. I have fired hundreds of rounds in three different Glocks (19, 42, 43), with absolutely no problems. I believe Lucky Gunner has the best prices and the fastest, most efficient order and delivery track record around. I will continue to come back to Lucky Gunner for future orders.
Excellent ammo and service
I went through 1000 batch of Fiocchi 115gr with 0 failures on my Sig p226 and CZ P01. Decided to buy 124gr to better match self defense ammo that I have. Used a box of 50 with no failures - as expected. Costs only a bit more than reloads. Fast service by lucky gunner, as usual.
Shot 850 rounds of the 1000 with no problems.
No problems encountered over a five day defensive pistol training course under varied conditions shooting my H&K VP9. Gun cleaning was minimal. Great ammo at a reasonable cost with quick delivery.
Very Accurate in XDM 5.25" and Springfield 1911 Loaded
My objective was to find some reasonably priced accurate factory ammo for 3 gun match shooting. I accuracy test fired about 10 different selections of ammo from various makers (some a lot more expensive than this) and with various bullet weights and this Fiocchi 124 gr. ammo beat out all others decisively in both pistols. Test groups were all 10 shot groups at 25 yards.
great service, savings, ammo
I've only got a chance to shoot a few rounds of the fiocchi 9mm very pleased with product as usual.lucky gunner saves time and gas as well as cash. Thanks for taking the hassle out hunting for rounds. I will continue to buy from you
