Grab onto thine socks and ready thineself. We’ve got a deal on 9mm target ammo so good that you’re going to want to sit down even more than you probably already are before continuing to read about it. It’s Remington’s UMC series ammunition, which is staple food for hungry plinkers and target shooters across these United States!

One hundred twenty-four grains is the Goldilocks 9mm bullet weight. Not too heavy. Not too light. Just right if you want a muzzle velocity that straddles (but doesn’t necessarily dip beneath) the supersonic threshold. The bullet is naught more than a full metal jacket: a lead core with a true copper jacket that interfaces safely with ported barrels/comps, and which doesn’t contain a lick of steel between its two nonferrous components. Surely, the only kind of bullet you need for regular hole punching.

Yep. We know math here at Lucky Gunner. Calculating this American-made round’s 0.178 G1 ballistic coefficient and following ballistic performance out of a 4” barrel was easy-peasy work for math minds like ours.
