Its full metal jacket is made of the same brass as its brand new reloadable case, and its core is a lead/tin alloy affair. Its Boxer primer is specified as nekorozivní, s obsahem olova, which is Czech for “non-corrosive, containing lead.” Nothing out of the ordinary there. Its propellant is specified as dvojsložkový bezdýmný prach, which means “two-component smokeless powder,” which is no less normal. The FMJ’s 124 grain weight is middle-of-the-spectrum, and the C.I.P. specifications STV follows promise safe and reliable operation in any semi-auto.
